The OAA, established in 2011 as an appendant body of the Apostolic Church of the Pleroma, provides ACP clergy with a traditional Hermetic Initiation pathway that complements the mystico-theurgical practices of the CKSM. As a para-Masonic order, the OAA integrates diverse initiatic lineages, embodying their currents while remaining wholly independent of any external authority, save for the Frater Superior of the Order (Fr. L.O., XIX°) and the Patriarch of the ACP (Tau Phosphoros).
The OAA disclaims any formal affiliation with other Fraternal, Masonic, or Initiatory Orders or Societies. While incorporating lineages from various initiatic traditions, it does not claim to represent the originating bodies. Even in cases where the OAA has been specifically chartered to establish a Supreme Power of a Rite, such empowerment is fully integrated into its independent system of practical Initiation.
The rites and teachings of the OAA draw from the premier Hermetic, Occult, and Alchemical initiatic traditions of the 18th and 19th centuries—such as the Order of African Architects, the Asiatic Brethren, Cagliostro's Haute Maçonnerie Egyptienne, the Rites of Misraim and Memphis, the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, and the Oriental Templars—while incorporating significant esoteric advancements from the 20th and 21st centuries. These elements converge into a cohesive system comprising seventeen degrees of initiation and instruction, along with two administrative grades.
Together with the Holy Orders and grades of the ACP and CKSM, the OAA completes a Sacred Triad dedicated to the full initiation of the individual. Having operated in secrecy for many years, the hierophany of the Order, with the Patriarch's approval, now offers this glimpse into one of its most concealed inner conclaves, providing a more comprehensive view of its activities to those interested in the work of the ACP.
